SONAMURA, Nov 13 (TIWN): One BSF was targeted on the border on Monday by some Bangladeshis, which has fueled tension, panic among the locals at there.

The incident took place on Monday at Sonamura, when BSF jawan of 145 Bn Raju Das was patrolling under N C Nagar BOP.

Raju Das saw a biker roaming in the border areas since hours, but when the BSF jawan went near to the biker, asked his identity and purpose some more Bangladeshis gheraoed the BSF and  stretched him on the other side of border.

Immediately local youths led by BSF Official Kuljit Sing entering Bangladesh border rescued Raju Das. 3 rounds of shooting was done to bring the situation under control.

On the side of Bangladesh also shooting had been continued for sometimes. At the end the BSF Jawan was rescued.

It seems Tripura is day by day becoming Kashmir and Sonamura is becoming Bangladesh occupied land, just as Pak-occupied Kashmir.
