AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): One pistol was recovered from a drain at Joynagar,Agartala.

This incident took place on Wednesday at Abola Chowmuhani (under Joynagara), near Fire Brigade-Court way when the workers were cleaning AMC's drains at there.

Immediately police was informed about this incident. Battala outpost police rushed to the spot and have taken the pistol with them.

Curiosity of public increased with the news and hundreds of people gathered to take glimpse of the pistol.

How in front of police station and fire brigade pistols were left in drain, it has triggered questions.
