Agartala, Aug 19,(TIWN) Gas pipeline is not clear yet and this is resulting in the delay of the commissioning in OTPCs 726 mw power plant at Palatana at Udaipur, in the greater south district of the state.
On the eve of the foundation day of ONGC, on August 14 evening, the Asset Manager of the Tripura asset met journalists and said that things would be on roll since that night. As of now, diesel is still leaking out of the gas-pipeline.
On June 21 President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the first commercial generation of the first unit of the plant. Since then production is at halt. Sources said that it will take another few more number of days for final generation and moreover ONGC will issue clearance after inspection, which is still due.
