CPI-M / BJP clash : 22 injured including 2 women, 1 journalist : Tear gas, lathi charge to control the situation

DHARMANAGAR, Oct 27 (TIWN): A clash emerged among CPI-M's wing TMSU and BJP's wing BMS at Dharmanagar at 2.30 PM.
This incident has injured atleast 22 persons including 2 women. One journalist Ayan Banik was seriously injured in the clash. Stone pelting from both sides were done, whereas police held lathicharge.
All of the injured persons were shifted at Dharmanagar hospital. Some of the political activists conditions are serious, but no life was informed yet.
Tear gas was thrown over the agitators to control the situation an Section 144 is already implemented at there. This incident has created panic among the locals when only 3 months have left for the election.
