AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): CPI-M Politburo member cum former General Secretary of the Communist Party of India has arrived Agartala on Wednesday keeping the Assembly Election-2018 in front.
CPI-M party which is ruling over Tripura since 24 years is expectedly to face a tough challenge by the opposition BJP in 2018 Election.
However, when 4 months are left for the election, both the parties are inviting its national leaders to address the state.
Prakash Karat will continue campaigning in CPI-M ruled Tripura on behalf of CPI-M for few days. On Wednesday he is attending a rally at Agartala.
Prakash Karat is an Indian communist politician. He was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India from 2005 to 2015.
