Agartala, August 13 (TIWN): On the eve of Celebration of 68th Independence Day, the Police Department is organizing a run for peace and health on 14th August, 2014.

 The run will be flagged off at 0700 A.M by Shri G.K Rao, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Tripura in presence of Shri K. Nagaraj, DGP, Tripura and other Senior Officers of Tripura Police.  The run will start from Lake Chowmuhani, Parking place near Vivekananda Stadium. A good number of Senior Officers and Police personnel including TSR will participate in the run.

The route for run will be:-

Lake Chowmuhani(Starting point)- North Gate- Haradhan Chowmuhani- Colonel Chowmuhani- Sankar Chowmuhani- Ker Chowmuhani- PHQ Chowmuhani-Battala- Paradise Chowmuhani-Kaman Chowmuhani- Women College-Vivekananda Stadium(End point).

All are requested to encourage the participants to rededicate themselves at the alter of duty.
