UDAIPUR, Oct 3 (TIWN): Pathetic conditions of Rural / Urban roads, National Highways are alleged everyday in Tripura, raising thousand questions on the connectivity of the state. Once again complain has come from Gomati Dist hospital area's locals and patient parties about the deplorable shape of main entrance -way of Dist Hospital. Due to PWD's negligence the work that had begun before around 3 / 4 months couldn't be completed till day leading mass suffering for the common people. Talking to the locals they mention, "Gomati Dist Hospital road always goes under water during the rainy season. The only connective path between National Highway and Gomati Dist. Hospital gets filled by rain water; as there is no proper way by which the water can get released. Apart from that the ongoing slow work of road construction has increased the pathos much". The Gomati District hospital lined road's problem is however nothing new but since the beginning complaints against the road have been coming.
The vehicles, ambulance's entrance have become tough due to the pathetic shape of the roadway. This is another alternative route for Udaipur to Bagma way and maximum bikers, ambulances are used to go through this way.
All kinds of vehicles including ambulance, private cars, bikes are facing ache to pass by this road. Moreover, as the road condition is not so far well, the chances of accident is increased.
The authority however has claimed that due to rain the road work couldn't be completed but question raises, in the dry season every year PWD goes in slumber but when summer and rain arrive PWD starts its projects leading unfinished project works and unending mass suffering throughout the year.
