SONAMURA / AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): BSF has arrested one Abdul Islam with Rs. 5 lakh 20 thousand of Bangladeshi currency.

Islam was nabbed at Sonamura’s N C Nagar located Indo-Bangla border area on Tuesday.

The currency was being delivered from one Sonamura resident Joydeb to Bangladeshi resident Jewel.

5 ATM cards were also recovered from Abdul Islam.

All these items and currencies have been given to the custom office. Police is investigating the case in details.
