Agartala, August 12 (TIWN): Evacuation continued by AMC. On Tuesday morning AMC’s Task force started raiding from Ashram Chowhumani to chandrapur area.

According to the AMC sources, footpaths are occupied largely by hawkers from Ashram Chowhumani to chandrapur area. The hawkers had been informed many times but they made no response to it. Tired of this the AMC decided to teach them a lesson. So, from Tuesday morning they started raiding- says officials from AMC.

Earlier, AMC holds evacuation of hawkers in the heart of Agartala city . Around 50 hawkers have been evacuated from Kaman Chowhumani to Post Office Chowhumani in the 1^st phase. Later on AMC also raided in the same area 2^nd time
