AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Only 2 days left for Durga Puja-2017 and club members are now busy in final preparations. Maximum clubs in Agartala are carrying Durga idols on Sunday as it's Choturthi.
However, carrying of idols will be continued till Shashthi.
But due to internet service crippled in state, selfies, pictures-with-friends, FB status updates all have been halted.
Amidst all these resentments due to the internet cut, the clubs are now busy in finishing touches and celebrating the puja with the confined budget.
Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava and Navaratri, is an annual Hindu festival in the Indian subcontinent that reveres the goddess Durga. It is particularly popular in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Tripura, and the diaspora from this region.
