AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): With a major setback for Tripura Govt, Tripura journalists have demanded CBI investigation in Santanu Bhowmik's murder case, who was brutally killed on Sep-20 at Mandai in a political clash among CPI-M and IPFT.
In a gatheirng the journalists have demanded CBI probe in Santanu murder case.
However, both the parties have denied the allegation of Santanu's murder and CPI-M has alleged IPFT and IPFT has alleged CPI-M behind the murder.
On the other side police investigation has been very slow and unexpectedly police is not taking any proper action. Allegation raised infront of 100 people Santanu was killed at Mandai but after 2 hours of the injury Santanu was not taken to hospital and due to bleeding the young journalist died.
Opposition BJP has also demanded CBI investigation into the case. Only 2 persons have been arrested in Santanu murder case but again court has sent them in 14 days police remand which has slow downed the investigation.
