AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar turned Tripura as another Kashmir by suspending mobile internet services like a dictator. Tripura Govt even though is trying to save Santanu's murderers by shutting down the internet facility, but all over India the Tripura govt has become a laughing stock for other states. Instead of suspending police officials before whom Santanu was killed brutally at Mandai with the alleged involvement of Khowai SP Nagendra Debbarma, Tripura Govt has suspended Internet service since the incident took place. Neither the Chief Minister met the journalists who were agitating in front of CM's residence after Santanu's murder, nor he went to see Santanu's deadbody but to digest all the controversy, Tripura Govt has shutdown the internet. However sharp attacks are coming from the non-residents of Tripura, especially those who are residing outside the state for job purpose. They are also saying, "We are lucky enough that we are out of Tripura".
Moreover, the ongoing Internet shutdown was again renewed and there is no chance of internet till Sunday latenight. On Sunday night Govt will again announce whether the internet suspension can be withdrawn or not.
This decision is vexing the public ahead of Durga puja as centering a single murder the state govt is doing its best to save the culprits who are behind the murder.
Apart from Bank and ATMs, people are under trouble to find out dress collections, check the offers in various shopping malls, beauty parlours due to the internet service's down.
In this situation resentment have brewed among the common men.
Internet suspension is going on since 20th September midnight after a journalist of Tripura Santanu Bhowmik was brutally killed in ruling CPI-M and one tribal party IPFT's clash at Mandai. Infront of 100 police the murder is believed as took place.
