AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): With the internet shutdown, citizens of Tripura are facing tremendous problems and harassment but now the state govt has added another problem to take the revenge on public for voicing against Santanu's brutal murder by creating petrol crisis. Ahead of Durga puja multiple problems are being created by Tripura Govt and it has added petrol crisis from Saturday afternoon. Maximum petrol pumps of Agartala are left dry whereas at Motorstand, Ganraj Chowmhani petrol pumps were queued up with long rows of fuel consumers. On Friday evening to night no petrol pump was selling petrol and signboards of 'No Petrol' had been hanged everywhere.Resentment have brewed among the consumers ahead of Durga Puja as they are facing multiple problems already due to the internet shutdown.
The petrol pump workers also have been tightlipped to clarify the cause behind petrol, diesel crisis. People are eagerly waiting for internet but before the internet comes back another new problem of fuel crisis has hit the state.
Reacting on the issue the fuel suppliers of the city said that they are expecting that the oil tankers will arrive soon in the city and the problem of the citizens will be solved.
One fuel pump worker said that due to Biswakarma puja the fuel crisis has emerged. However, such illogical logics are not working to control the resentment of the common men as it was expected that ahead of Durga Puja black marketing will go rise.
