AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Common people are facing tremendous harassments due to the internet shutdown that began from Sep-20 in Tripura immeidtaely after journalist Santanu was brutally killed at Mandai.
The shutdown of internet have not only disconnected the people from the rest of their friend circles but also public are unable to transact money ahead of Durga puja.
Complaints are coming from locals of Dharmangar, Kamalpur, Belinia, Udaipur and various other places and resentment have brewed among the common people due to the imposing of internet shutdown among the common people.
This internet shutdown is not only illegal but Govt's attempt to snatch citizen's rights.
Most likely internet to be back on Saturday night, however, it's to be seen how far govt let the people to suffer ahead of Durga puja.
