AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): In Santanu murder case, CBI investigation is must ! Why ? Tripura has experienced loopholes in police investigation from Bimal Sinha murder case to Anuara Chaudhury and lack of seriousness in Santanu murder case has alreday started.
When comes about Santanu murder case, Santanu was beaten at around 2 PM and then brought to GB almost after 3 hours with the lifeless body.
When TIWN called Mandai police at night 9 PM police instead of cooperating said they had no proper information. Not only this police also didn't registered any case on the incident till latenight.
BJP said that before the state govt can hide the evidences, CBI must take the cases in hand.
"The ongoing cases under CBI are slow because when CBI took the cases in hands it was much late, but in Santanu's murder case immediate actions should be taken. BJP will go for massive protest demanding CBI investigation", said Subol Bhowmik.
"Section 144 was already in action since Thursday. Then how was he killed with sharp weapons before everyone ? This was a pre-planned cold blooded murder" added Bhowmik.
"Such clashes are generally covered by Kokborok based news media at first. But why only Santanu was called on the spot for the news coverage ? How before everyone Santanu was stretched to the jungle and brutally killed ?", said Bhowmik.
Thus, BJP's demand for immediate CBI investigation in Tripura journalist Santanu Bhowmik's murder case can not be sidelined.
