UDAIPUR, Sep 19 (TIWN): Long queues were observed at Udaipur Matabari temple for Darshan & paying offers to Tripura Sundari Devi on the occasion of auspicious Mahalaya.

In early morning devotees had holy bath in Kalyansagar (the big lake in the temple premise) & Ma Kali who is also another form of Devi Durga has been worshipped with full devotion.

Rush of people are generally followed during Mahalaya, Pahela Baishakh, Durga Puja, Chaitra Shankranti at Matabari, widely known as Tripura Sundari temple which considered as the most pious pilgrimage in state.

On Friday also people from various corners of Udaipur City arrived at Matabari temple to pray Ma Kali for her blessing for their prosperous days in future.
