AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): With a sad-note, Durga Puja in Tripura will be suffered heavily due to rain and thunderstorm, according to the weather dept's forecast.

On Sep-26, there will be a couple of thunderstorms and on Sep-27 a storm will come in the afternoon.

Sep-28 will be followed by again afternoon-thunderstorm whereas Sep-29 there will be time to time rains especially during night hours.

However, still people are in hope that suddenly the cloud may shift with Devi's blessings so that 4 days of Durga Puja can be enjoyed so far, for which people wait for the whole year.

Puja pandals decoration are also heavily affected due to the constant showers across the state.
