AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Drivers of Khowai road have demanded special security on roads to avoid similar incidents of Wednesday evening, when following a separate accident, brutal attack was held upon another bus led 2 persons injured on the spot.

Protesting against the incident drivers blocked road at Radhanagar since Thursday morning that led Ministers’ movements paused towards secretariat.

Going against all political views, the drivers asked, “Living in an independent country why innocent people are attacked everyday?”

“We need proper investigation into the case as well as immediate arrest of the attackers”, said the drivers.

The Left Front Union syndicate leader rushed to the spot to control the situation, but the drivers blasted him asking to stop his ‘political cry’.
