Dumboor Lakes's overflow water panics flood affected masses

AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): Overflowing Dumboor lake water at Amarpur created mass panic as further rains expected.
However, 2 gates of the barrage have opened but that also leading Gomati river’s water to increase.
Dumboor Hydro Project GGM Nirmal Debbarma said, “Considering the safety of Dumboor Hydro Project the gate has been opened”.
Presently the water level of river Gomati has risen up to 93.50 mt just 4.5 mt below from the danger level.
Moreover, rumour has been spread that the Dumboor barrage has been collapsed, whether the DGM has denied the allegation.
