New Delhi / Agartala, Sep 5 (TIWN): National debt-ridden carrier Air India has announced a 50 percent discount on the base fare on domestic sectors in Economy Class for students, army personnel, and senior citizens with effect from September 1.

The carrier took to the Twitter and wrote, “Effective today avail 50% discount on Students along with Armed Forces Senior Citizens."

The offer is "subjected to availability of seats” as seats are limited in number.

"Tickets can be booked at Air India booking counters, website www.airindia.in and Call centre", the airline said. However, the airline did not mention the closing date of the offer.
