AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): A massive gathering was followed at Chanmanu Mandal under Chailengta with the arrival of Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Monday.

After addressing the rally at Chamanu, sitting directly in a press conference Sunil Deodhar said, “Atleast 5000 people’s gathering was seen at there”.

Addressing the press conference Jual Oram said, “We are  sanctioning the fund yearwise but the benefits out of those funds are not visible at all. Allegation also came that under Pradhan Mantri Yojna only the party people are getting highest benefits. ADC although has been created but for the name sake. Indeed no development has been done under the ADC”

Oram also gave green signal on State Council but it will go to the Centre via State Govt. 

An amount of Rs 5 Lakhs announced by Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu in last month, was also handed over to  the family members of Slained BJP Tripura Karyakarta Nishikant Chakma by Jual Oram.
