AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): The unemployed nursing students of Tripura have finally met the Health Minister of the state and discussed about their problems.
However, what were the outcomes of the meeting the matter yet to be known.
Nursing under-trained students also recently placed deputation to the Chief Minister demanding recruitment of nursingstudents in state.
A number of nursing students on last Thursday went to meet the Health Minister Badal Choudhury, waited for hours but they were returned empty handed as Minister couldn't seen. Official source said that Minister is not at Agartala and left for some works. The angry nursing passed out students reached CPI-M party office at Melarmath in demand of answer to job-policy of the CPI-M that had led a huge chaos at Melarmath zone.
However, on Friday the students placed deputation to the Chief Minister in demand of staff nurse recruitment.
On Monday the youths again attempted to meet the Health Minister of the state and reportedly a talk was held among the students and the Minister.
