SONAMURA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Ahead of Eid, a huge numbers of liquor bottles were seized by Tripura police from Dhanpur, that is the constituency of CM Manik Sarkar.

However, Dhanpur that is under Sonamura is equally suffered from illegal business like other Sonamura based places during the whole year.

On Saturday at around night 10 PM this raid was held at Tarapukur under Dhanpur.

Talking to police at Sonamura they mentioned that the liquors were found in a rubber garden, most likely was smuggled to Bangladesh.
