AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu to address Tripura ST BJP supporters on August 9, BJP Office said.
On Aug-9 BJP was to conduct a massive rally in Agartala to show the power of idegenious people’s support for BJP in Tripura.
Biplab Deb, state party president said that it would be a historical rally ever seen in the state.
However, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu will remain present as the chief guest of the programme.
Pema Khandu is the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Since becoming chief minister in July 2016, he and his government have twice changed their party affiliation; in September from the Indian National Congress to the Peoples Party of Arunachal, and then in December 2016 to the Bharatiya Janata Party. Previously he had served as Minister of Tourism, Urban Development and Water Resources in the state government of Congress leader Nabam Tuki.
