AGARTALA, August 4 (TIWN): ‘As per as 10,323 terminated teachers is concerned, Supreme Court today has not passed any interim order in favor of them. Court only issued a notice to stay on the High Court judgment on recruitment policy part.,’ say’s eminent Lawyer and High Court Advocate Arun Kanti Bhowmik.Admitting Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by Tripura Government, Hon’ble Supreme court noticed today that, September 12 hearing would be made.
Mr. Bhowmik added, court can reject the SLP on that day too. Clarifying the issue Mr. Bhowmik added, ‘generally it seems that the Supreme Court passed notice before admission hearing. After that, the SPL may be accepted or can be dismissed. Even the final judgment may also come out on the first hearing day.’ According to him, for some time the notice will give satisfaction, but until final judgment comes there is nothing to relax or celebrate. Supreme Court will take a decision based on the merit of the case and a mere notice from SC for 1st hearing on September 12 shouldn’t be translated a victory for State Govt.
General public of Tripura shouldn’t be misguided by the misleading statements of one Minister and few Officials as they are versioning Supreme Court notice in their favours due to political compulsions.
