SONAMURA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Dilapidated roadway has turned lives miserable of 200 people at Kalamkhet, Sonamura.
Reportedly, Kalamkhet located Nobbarkhil area's aleast 15 families are residing but with a few splashes of rain the whole area goes under water and the transport turns almost impossible for them.
The children can not come out of houses in this condition.
Talking to the locals, they alleged, "Everytime before the election we are promised to be provided with all kinds of facilities including roads but now everyday we are bound to to knock the door of authorities but nobody bothers even to visit the area".
Recently, during rain and flood the groom had to go via a boat made of banana tree trunks for his marriage.
Question raising, with MGNREGA funds why the road can't be repaired ?
Locals have demanded for faster recovery of the road way.
