AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN):BJP state president Biplab Deb told his rival CPI-M that instead of developing false sentiments as ‘Bhumi Putra’, it’s better to work on actual development of ADC and increasing passing rates of students, making the areas up to the mark of developed areas and to provide basic facilities to the people residing there.
“There is nothing called Bhumi-putra (Son-of-Soil). Why in the name of Bhumi-putra a section will be remained in ADC forests, that’s worse than African forests ?”, said Deb.
"I understood, why the people of ADC people have learnt about peculiar terms as "Bhmui-Putra". I am Biplab Deb; I born at Udaipur Hospital. So I am also "Bhumi Putra". But CPI-M's dangerous separation policy has developed such terms to gain political benefits", said Deb.
