AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): The Shyamli Bipani Bitan, that was established in 2009, a huge number of businessmen had taken the shops in lease from the state govt.
But after 8 years, the shopkeepers are facing heavy losses as the roofs are unable to hold the rain water, resulted nonstop falling of water inside the room during the monsoon.
The Municipal Office is just nearby the shopping complex, but even after multiple complaints no maintenance has been done there. Councilor Krishna Majumder is also playing a silent role over the issue.
Resentments have brewed among the shopkeepers there.
The shopping complex was established in 2009, Oct-10 by Urban Development Minister Manik Dey under Agartala Municipal Council.
