AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Opposition BJP on Friday has demanded the faster recovery of flood affected areas and to give proper compensation to all flood victimized people.

With this move, Banamalipur-9 BJP Mandal has given deputation to the West DM Millind Ramteke asking him to inspect the flood-damaged areas across Agartala and also BJP brought a special focus of the DM into Banamalipur area, which gets affected with few splashes of rains.

Flood is damaging the houses on Howrah river bank in fast manner in this monsoon, but the locals have alleged they are deprive of proper compensation.

The opposition also told DM that various road are left in dangerous shape, which need to be recovered soon.
