AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Truck loaded phensedyl was recovered from a godown at Joy Nagar with the special initiatives of Add SP Sharmishtha Chakraborty on Tuesday.

The house owner Debashish Roy Chowdhury said he has been fully unaware about the phensedyl collection in the godown whereas the medical shop keeper is in hide now.

Basanti pharmacy is a  popular medical shop at Joynagar that has been sealed from today after this incident.

With the raid of police led by the lady TCS Officer, the local people there are happy.

Every week, a huge amount of phensedyl are getting recovered at Agartala, whereas maximum medical shops are engaged in such illegal business.
