AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Police has declined to provide security to Tripura BJP leader Manik Das, who is allegedly undergoing life-threatening.

Manik Das is the Dist President of the BJP, claimed for being attacked by ruling CPI-M party members various times.

Last time he was attacked at lefunga during a party campaigning.

But instead of continuous demands, West Police didn't provide any security to Manik Das, led him to place deputation to DGP A K Sukla on Wednesday.

However, the DGP said he will look into the matter, Manik Das told media.
