AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Charges came against CPI-M MLA Keshab Debbarma for filing false affidavit for his Education Qualification, who reportedly not even passed in Madhyamik Exam too.
"Earlier, there was a complaint against a Minister of Delhi Govt, regarding false affidavit about educational qualification in Elections and he was arrested promptly", a top opposition leader said.
"There is an MLA in Tripura, Keshab Debbarma of 17 Golaghati. He filed false affidavit. During 2008 elections he stated that his educational qualification was " Madhyamik appeared in the year 1992 under TBSE", the leader added.
In the affidavit filed in 2013 elections he stated that the highest educational qualification Madhyamik passed from Tripura Board of Secondary Education in 1989.
