AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Panic gripped after mysterious death of a blind student was reported.

The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Sukla Das whose body was found hanged in the school premise. He was studying in blind school of Tripura Govt at Narshingrah and also residing in the same school's hostel.

But how a blind student can commit suicide like this, it raised question.

Moreover, his body was touching the floor which is not enough to kill a person.

But, police already trying to dump the case claiming it's 'suicide' whereas locals have asked for proper investigation into the case.

Not only this, the school authority said that Rakesh was suspended from the school yesterday.

The Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath yet to visit the school.
