Santirbazar, June 4 (TIWN): With the consistent rains of few hours a major portion of Santirbazar, including offices,houses have gone under water, disrupting the normal lives at there.

This condition has gripped most of the Municipality areas but the Municipality is reluctant to take any initiative to solve the issue. Chairman Ratan Das and other ward members were also visited the spot.

Locals alleged that due to water discharging machines' non-functional condition this situation has been developing.

Presently many offices and police stations as well as market areas have gone under rain water.

If the rain continues like this, then the situation may turn worse.
