UDAIPUR, June 1 (TIWN): 3 Ministers of Tripura RD / Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia, PWD/ Health Minister Badal Choudhury, Tourism Minister Ratan Bhwomik inaugurated a bridge at Killa named ‘Hirendra Jamatia Bridge’.

Connecting Killa with Joangbari, Kalamkhai, Tairupar, this bridge has eased the way of transport for the locals of that ADC area.

The 68 meter long bridge costs 267 lakhs, but doubt remained over quality as the work was done by local contractors of Udaipur.

Udaipur MLA Madhab Saha was also present on that occasion.

Addressing the mass, PWD Minister Badal Choudhury said, “The definition of development is peace and due to developmental attitude of left front govt the scenario has been changing at Killa”.

However, local Minister Naresh Jamatia also said same but was silent about the decade long problems as power cut, poor health service and water scarcity.

Killa area has recently received a BJP leader much popular among tribals there, especially for Jamatia society Rampada Jamatia, increased CPI-M’s fear for vote banks there, informed a source.
