AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Tripura BJP demanded 7th Pay Commission on Thursday amidst heavy rain.
A rally was conducted at Agartala led by Party President Biplab Deb in demand 7th Pay Commission in Tripura for the benefit of state govt employees.
7th pay Commission's demands has been BJP's poll agenda for 2018 election, whereas Tripura Left Front Govt is unready to implement it.
Recently Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha announcing a Rs. 600 crores of budget set a pension & salary review committee which generated multiple political / non-political protests across the state.
In this situation, opposition BJP's continuous promising about 7th pay commission, turning heavy upon the ruling CPI-M.
On the other hand Bhanulal Saha's review committee has submitted the report to the Chief Minister about the salary structure which yet to be disclosed.
