AMBASSA, July 25 (TIWN): In a tragic road accident, one passenger was died and at least 15 passengers were injured at Kalabari under Ganganagar police station around 5.30 pm, this evening. The deceased was identified as Buddhiroy Reang (25), confirmed police. According to police, the incident took place while a commander jeep bearing the number TR01-A-2098 was overturned while it was proceeding towards Ganganagar from Kalabari. As a result, at least 15 passengers received grievous injuries on their persons.

After receiving the information, police of Ganganagar police station rushed to the place of occurrence and sent the injured persons to Ganganagar hospital immediately. Among them, three critically injured persons were referred to the Kulai district hospital.

Unfortunately, on the way to Kulai district hospital one passenger Buddhiroy Reang (25) succumbed to his injuries, said police.

One of the eye witnesses of the accident, Sebaram Reang said that this mishap was allegedly occurred due to the negligence driving of offender vehicle and overloading. However, police registered a specific case in this regard.
