AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): West Bengal Trinamool MP Mukul Roy said on Saturday, after he arrived Tripura that BJP's popularity is media created, whereas Trinamool is rooted in Tripura's soil.
The Trinamool propagator of Ma-Mati-Manush further claimed that Trinamool is the soil of Tripura and 2018's election will prove public's faith is on Trinamool.
Mukul Roy have arrived to attend the Khowai conference, likely to take some crucial decisions for the upcoming poll.
Mukul Roy was the Railway Minister of India. He is an Indian politician and a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India, representing West Bengal.
Tripura Trinamool Congress was weakened when many of its chief leaders had joined BJP alleging Trinamool's inactive role to boost the booth-missions.
Trinamool's former Chairman Ratan Chkaraborty who initiated Trinamool to emerge as a political party in Tripura also left the party to join BJP saying that Mamata Banerjee had chosen wrong people for her party in state.
On the other hand Trinamool leader Sudip Barman said without alliance with Anti-Left parties, BJP will never come in power.
However, now it's to be seen how far Mukul Roy's visit brings effect in Tripura Assembly Poll.
