AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Amidst Tripura's pathetic shape of skill development in Tripura National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) board held a meeting with state officials.
Eventhough, S K Panda, chairman of State Development Mission attempted to impress the officials but failed to satisfy the officials under the board.
Secretary of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. KP Krishnan and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) chaired the meeting and inspected the status of the state's employment under Skill Development.
Report was also submitted by Tripura Govt officials during the meeting. However, how far those reports were practical, it's in doubt.
When the target of skill development was 1. 16 lakhs with above 50 crores of fund sanctioned from the central but the number of persons Employed/Self Employed shown as 4,279.
