AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): With the venture to guide the Drawing and Disbursement Officers (DDOs) under School Education, Tourism and Urban Development departments, a one-day orientation workshop was organised at Pragna Bhavan, here today. The workshop was conducted by the School Education Department in Tripura.

“During the workshop, the DDOs were trained about the financial rules in the government offices. To excel the DDOs in accounts, adjustment, drawing, audit reports, cash book, cheque books/challans, Children’s Educational Assistance, provident fund, medical reimbursement and the other financial works, the workshop was conducted”, said the Secretary of Urban Development (UD) Department- Ashutosh Jindal over telephone, this evening.

He further asserted that it was the second workshop itself and the third workshop is likely to be held on September, this year. We are trying to cover all the DDOs in different workshops, he said.

While addressing the workshop, Jindal appealed to all the DDOs to follow the financial rules in proper way.

The Principal Secretary of School Education Department- K Rajeswar Rao, a immense contingent of DDOs including many other high officials remained present in the workshop.
