AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Tripura state Cabinet likely to conduct a vital meeting today over the proposals to form new board toward commencing Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for the recruitment of school level teachers and DA related issues of the state employees, an official communiqué confirmed this morning.
The source further stated that it may be also discussed in the meeting about the next Chief Secretary of the state as the incumbent Chief Secretary of Tripura- SK Panda was recently appointed as the Secretary of Textile Ministry in Delhi.
It is not yet cleared that whether the abstract decision for hiking DA from 5 percent to 8 percent for the state employees will be approved in today’s meeting or not, said the source.
The proposals on formation new board for TET and the draft bill to establish separate University in Tripura are likely to be discussed in today’s Cabinet meeting.
