AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): A Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was conducted ward-wise across Tripura by BJP on Wednesday.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan even-though a central motivated mission is conducted by BJP also a regular party activity, said a BJP activists at Agartala, who was working in Ward No-9 Banamalipur.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a campaign by the Government of India to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country's 4,041 statutory cities and towns. 

It's worthy to mention here, Agartala City has been  degraded to 290 position on National clean city index, CPI-M spokesperson Goutam Das recently said, 'So, what in C-Group list Tripura is first' !
