Agartala, Aug 17, (TIWN) The Agartala Municipal Council is on an eviction drive to demolish illegal building within the City. Last Friday, nearly 30 building and construction were demolished at Dim Sagar area under the West Agartala police station.

 The authority issued several notices to the encroachers before carrying out the drive. The operation would be on and the same thing would continue with other construction that are occupying government land for many years or so.

Sources said, the point of demolishing illegal buildings would continue for some more days. Police personnel would be deployed in the areas where the eviction drive would be held.
