Khowai, July 20 (TIWN): In a shocking incident, bodies of two minors were recovered at Madarambari area under Champahour police station today.
Bodies were identified as Pamir Munda (17) and Shantanu Munda (15). Both the boy and girl are residents of the said area and students of Bachaibari HS School, confirmed police.
According to the police, both were missing from July 13. But no missing diary was filed from either side, said police.
Villagers launched search at Nakacherra jungle after getting a stinking smell and recovered the bodies, this afternoon. The locals have informed to police about the recovery of the bodies. After receiving the information, police of Champahour police station rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies, said police.
According to preliminary investigation, police suspected the both Pamir and Shantanu have fallen in love but their families opposed their relationship that might led them to the shocking incident.
Police registered an unnatural death case in this regard and investigating the matter. The bodies were decomposed to such an extend that the medical officer has to performed postmortem on the spot, police added.
