AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Security has been beefed up in Tripura with the arrival of BJP National President Amit Shah on Saturday following various untoward incidents in last few days due to political clashes.
Centering Amit Shah’s visit BJP’s poll campaigning went on peak, but the sudden increasing opposition's power after 24 years of long CPI-M ruling, Tripura has triggered many clashes, which never took place earlier in last 2 decades.
However, a huge number of police, CRPF have been deployed since Friday each and every corner of the city and also at North, Unakoti Dist where Amit Shah will visit on Sunday and address at Kumarghat PWD field.
Amitbhai Anilchandra "Amit" Shah is an Indian politician from Gujarat and the current President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shah was elected as an MLA from Sarkhej in four consecutive elections: 1997, 1998, 2002 and 2007.
