Agartala, July 20 (TIWN): Tripura is expected to have hot and humid temperature for at least the next 48 hours, officials from the Met Department said here today.
The state is expected to have cloudy skies with rains and thundershowers in most parts of the state on Monday, the official said adding that the state today had a maximum of 34.2 degree Celsius and minimum of 26 degree Celsius temperature. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 33 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius tomorrow.
A cyclonic circulation was found to have developed on the Bay of Bengal and coastal areas of Orissa. We are expecting cloud formation for the next few days, the Met official said. He, however, denied any imminent possibility of massive rainfall in the state.
Sources said that southern parts of the state ranging from Sabroom in South Tripura district till Udaipur in Gomati district received isolated rainfall in different patches on Sunday. The rainfall is expected to continue tomorrow.
