AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): The 10th Agartala Marathon led by ONGC has kicked off on Sunday with Tripura Sport Minister Sahid Choudhury's inauguration of the programme.

On Saturday the baton of Marathon was handed over to Sports icon of the state Dipa Karmakar, the legend of Indian Gymnastic.

Earlier, a 5 members team lead the marathon on April 6 and their journey had kicked off at Akhaura Checkpost to Bangladesh with the Indo-Bangla Friendship baton.

On Sunday, Tripura Sports Minister Sahid Chowdhury also participated in the marathon, TIWN reported.
