AGARTALA, 18 July, (TIWN): Before State Election Commission stated ballot paper counting, ballot papers discovered from jungle, yesterday. ECS confirmed that the incident occurred in nearby Mohanpur Vivekananda College. Officials already detained all the ballot papers, but the situation is not satisfactory.
During the three-tire Panchayat election CPI-(m) party always in top of the news, for vote rigging, conflict with other party members and so on. Now it is cleared that none other, the ruling party is involved in such cases.
The incident occurred when, Congress party members and few local residential discovered ballot papers from jungle and they immediately come in touch to local MLA Ratanlal Nath. At the same time MLA asked to the Returning Officer regarding this issue, and he (MLA) also informed the police. Retuning Officer and A.R.O with high Officials visit the place and take away the seized ballot papers.
Current situation in that District are now out of control. Congress party members and supporters meet with a big really and they opposed the incident and they meet with Returning Officer and demanded to arrest now the Presiding Officer including with all the stuffs related to ballot paper counting.
Sources confirmed that, the four ballot papers are from 129 no. Polling center that is (Rangamura Gram Panchayat). The concerned matter is that how the ballot papers are comes in jungle? And the main thing is that, these all are indicating the congress symbols.
Apart from that returning officer give a pledge that, all the necessary steps has to be taken by Election Commission. And he also informed that Deelip Bhattacharjee is the Presiding Officer in charge.
