UDAIPUR, April 26 (TIWN): A large area under Udaipur Municipal Council area remains without drinking water as water supply in this area remains halt due to leakage problem in the main line near Brahmabari. It is now 90 hours that water supply remains cut off. The technical staff of DWS have been trying to solve the leakage problem but so far they cannot do anything. Today a group of technical staff from Agartala will arrive at Udaipur to solve the problem.

Interestingly when the tap water supply remains cut off Municipal Water carrying vans are not seen on the road to give temporary relief. Even more surprising is that Udaipur Municipal Council Chairperson Subrata Deb seems to be quite oblivious of this situation. Completely abstaining from this grave problem Subrata Deb is seen to attend various felicitation ceremonies delivering lectures. Purely Udaipur Municipal Council is a total failure to stand by the urgent demand of the people ; thanks to the inefficiency of its Chairperson.
