AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): Before 2 years, 3 persons were killed by a police official in Udaipur when his vehicle hit 2 women and a man who were in morning walk at Udaipur.

Reportedly, before 2 years R K Pur PS S/I- Tapan Das had killed 3 persons named Laxmi Saha, Gouri Saha, Debasish Deb due to his negligence in driving.

It was said that the driver Dilip Debbarma was drunk and gave the jeep to the S/I. Losing control in driving, Tapan Das had hit 3 of them and all died on the spot.

When common people protested, the then O/C of R K Pur PS Kajal Kanta Baidya lathi charged upon them.

However, total 52 persons gave witness of the incident and after 2 years Court ordered Tapan Das’s arrest within 11^th May.
